Before You Come In
Getting ready is straightforward. Michelle at the front desk will guide you, verify your insurance in advance, and answer any questions about cost. New patient forms are available online; completing them beforehand helps things run smoothly, but you’re welcome to fill them out in the office.
What Your First Appointment Is Like
Most first visits last about 30 minutes. After any remaining paperwork is completed, Dr. Folweiler will talk through your health history and concerns, then perform a focused exam. He’ll explain what he finds in plain language and walk you through options that may help. If it makes sense for both of you, you’ll receive a full treatment at your first visit—not just a quick look and a reschedule.
Fees, Insurance, and No Long-Term Contracts
Michelle reviews your benefits and provides an estimate, though the final cost depends on how your insurance processes the claim.
For direct pay (on the date of service):
- First visit (exam): $60
- First treatment: $50
- Follow-up visits: $50
After Your First Visit
After your treatment, Dr. Folweiler may check how your body responded and share simple suggestions for home. He’ll outline a flexible follow-up plan and adjust it based on your progress. Most follow-up visits are efficient—usually five to ten minutes—with time for questions. If imaging is ever needed, he’ll refer you to a nearby facility, but only when it’s genuinely useful.
