Some leftover shots from our August vacation to the Oregon Coast.

Molly and Rene hit the surf.

Daniel on the beach.

Molly's niece Kiara came to visit. Here, she put on a play with
Camille and Daniel as co-stars.

A post-production bow.

This fall, we took up mushrooming on a lark. But, first things first. You've got
to teach your boy to pee in the woods. And you have to get some nourishment.
We got some "King Bolete" mushrooms (aka porcini or cep) and some oyster
mushrooms. The oyster mushrooms were very tasty. The boletes weren't much
fresh, but better dried and then reconstituted.

Poppa Ron (Molly's dad) and his partner Carolyne came to visit. We took
a side trip to Sequim (say "squim") on the Olympic Peninsula. We took a hike
out on the spit at Dungeness Bay.

Back at our lodging, the kids play a game with Ron
and Carolyne. I think they were pretending to be hot dogs and
Ron and Carolyne ate them.

On the way home, we stopped by the Port Townsend Wooden
Boat festival. The made wooden boats and surveyed other wooden
craft.

Camille is in a new school. Here, she and her classmates went to
Festa Italiana at the Seattle center to perform some dances in cute
Italian outfits. After the performance, they pose by the impromptu
bocce court.

place to go.
