Poppa Ron (Molly's father) and Carolyne came to visit us recently.
For two nights, we went to Whidbey Island.

Camille and Daniel enjoy some rice and beans at the "hotel" while
admirers pose for the photo.
Poppa Ron joins in on the fun.

After lunch in Coupeville, we enjoy some ice cream.
It was Poppa Ron's treat.

During a hike in the woods, Carolyne and Ron pose in front of a
very large tree.

Daniel enjoys a free ride.

Molly and Daniel enjoy a cuddle.

Daniel practicing stamping with Molly's help.

Daniel's a very busy boy now. Here he works in construction.

Daniel had something very important to show me.
You can just make it out in his left hand. I can't remember
what it was, but it was very important, I'm sure.

Camille made a cupcake, complete with candle, out
of playdough.

Here are the Halloween costumes. Camille originally wanted
to be a ladybug, but then fixated on being a princess. We borrowed
two dresses; the one she picked had an appliqué of Tinkerbell on it.
Therefore, she became a fairy complete with magic wand, costume
jewelry and lipstick. Daniel was given a hand-me-down Teletubbies
costume (Laa-Laa for those in the know). However, on Halloween
night, he refused to wear it. He did, however, get the hang of trick-or-
treating. He said something like "treat" at the door and "ank-oo" when
he got candy. We went out with friends and their kids and Camille
was by far the most assertive. She literally sprinted between houses.
She was in such a hurry that once she got the candy, she split before
saying "thank you."

We dropped by a community center for games and
festivities. A little face painting was in order.

Camille tosses stuffed animals for prizes. It has
been very cold and dry here. Camille keeps licking
her lips. Notice the chapped areas under her mouth.
