A guy with almost no hair, who looks like a cue ball with a smile, pushes
up in the backyard. I think it's my son, Daniel.

Camille carries a handful of Calla lilies from the back yard and a dirty
face into the dining room.

Camille and Daniel share a chair.

Much more fun was sharing a swing.

Camille plays with grass while Oakley rests. Oakley (now 11) rests
a lot these days. His arthritis is acting up and it's just easier to spend
most of the day lying down, preferably near family.

There are several cherry trees down the block. Camille
loves fruit and especially loves fruit she can help gather.
Blackberries are another special treat.

Daniel practices his floor exercises. You can see a little of his
fuzz in this photo. We think it's nominally blond, but there may
be some red it, which would surprise us if that actually came to bear.

Camille is quite the gymnast. She loves to climb.
Here, she's perched on the arms of a rotating chair
doing who-knows-what with her right hand. Note
the sporty hat.

Molly grabs a handful of kids in the backyard. For those of you who
think Seattle is all rain - notice the full sun in the background and the
vigorous garden. Fresh peas anyone?
