A father can only hold out for so long.  Eventually, the kids would have to be taken to Disneyland.  With dread and a wallet
opened far too wide (nearly $250!!), we entered Walt's "happiest place on Earth."  Perhaps I'll adopt Alex's stance that
one every leap year is plenty for visiting Disneyland.

Daniel shows his excitement on the tram ride from the absolutely enormous parking garage to Disneyland.

The female half of the family.

Dan spins in the teacups.  He went with his rollercoaster loving mother on the Matterhorn no fewer than three times, proclaiming
it his favorite ride.  Camille and I stuck to the tamer rides, riding only the small rollercoaster in Toon Town.

Camille rides the carousel.

I cringe at the pure sugar, but take delight in their pleasure.

"Alice" spins during the parade.

Exhausted, Daniel and Camille fell asleep quickly in the half hour drive to their grandfather's house.  Camille awoke for dinner,
but Daniel slept through it in Molly's lap.

After a night's sleep, we met Molly's old schoolmate, Tami at Griffith Park.  Camille, her son Jack, and I took short hike down
from the observatory.

Tami, Claire, and Jack relax on the lawn.

Dan snuggles with Molly.

Camille and Jack tackle our nephew Dylan.

Kiara shows the proper way to pin her younger brother Dylan.

Poppa Ron shows his grandsons how to play poker.

Daniel takes a turn dealing.  They bet pennies and nails.  I think the nails were worth a nickel.

Artists at work at the restaurant later that day.

Our hosts, Ron and Carolyne.

Chumming it up!

Bunny ears for Dad.

We watched Dylan play flag football the following day.  He put a lot of energy into it.

I cut off a few heads with the camera, but Molly's brother Alex is the assistant coach in the back left.  The head coach is the fellow
in the front right.

Daniel wanted me to take picture of the ladybug he coerced onto his arm.

Alex reads the Haggadah at the Seder.

Ron reads one of his parts.

Dawn (Carolyne's daughter) read from the haggadah and explains the various foods of the Seder, while her husband Steve
holds the special Seder plate.

Sarah, Dawn and Steve's daughter, takes a big swig at the Passover Seder dinner.

Talia, Carolyne's other granddaughter, is in high school and loves reading classic literature.

The big sleepover that night.  Kiara reads out loud to the rest of the kids; mine are barely keeping their eyes open.
